Aromatic Resin

Frankincense is a shrubby tree that is native to hot, dry, desert climates. The resin has been used for over 5,000 years. It’s highly regarded as a medicine, an aromatic perfume, a ceremonial tool, and was once worth even more than gold. You might be familiar with the scent of frankincense – often burned as incense in religious ceremonies. The oil is commonly used in aromatherapy for soothing stress and anxiety, reducing inflammation and boosting immunity.

We proudly offer Frankincense resin in it’s purest form, harvested using sustainable practices from the boswelia neglecta tree in Marsabit and Samburu counties. To burn the dried resin place in the dish of a candle diffuser or on top of a lit piece of charcoal. The resulting incense is pleasant and sweet and can be used to clear and purify the air. This resin is packaged as loose pieces in a box of 200 grams.

This unique blend features hagar and malmal myrrh resins harvested from the Chalbi desert and Marsabit, combined with the citrine scented gold frankincense from Ethiopia.
