About Mr. Dudu: Having grown up in Kenya, I have observed poor waste management in many communities. I have been creating awareness and providing education within communities and educational institutions about waste management by providing training on how to reduce trash by re-using, reducing, and recycling, by introducing the art of making environmentally-friendly items out of recyclables and making structures, murals and furnishings using waste bottles; and creating public art using broken waste (tiles, glass, plates, cups, and other items typically viewed as “trash”). I have always been fascinated by the issue of ‘’waste’ in our society and I have been creating art from recyclables since I was 10 years old. Therefore, recycling is not so much something I do; rather it is who I am.
