An event every week that begins at 11:00 am on Friday, repeating until 22 March, 2023
Join us every Friday for gentle yoga suited for beginners and seniors, led by Sharon, who has 20 years experience as a yoga practitioner. Yoga is an exercise you can do all your life. It’s low-impact nature makes it suitable for those with joint pain, osteoporosis, or limited mobility. Plus, yoga poses can easily be modified to fit your comfort level and physical ability, making it a wonderful exercise for any age group. These classes will focus on improving balance and flexibility, as well as reducing anxiety and stress through mindful breathing.
Sharon recently completed a 200 hour yoga teacher training to enable her to share with others her passion for yoga as a tool for healing. She offers her students a gentle, slow Vinyasa and Yin style practice, designed to soothe the nervous system, and heal the body and mind.
Classes will be held outdoors on the grass, woven mats and khangas will be available to borrow, or bring your own yoga mat.
