Volunteer Book Covering Event

Join us for a special book covering event in support of building a community library in Kibera—an initiative by Pocket Libraries in partnership with Uweza Foundation.
Since 2008, Uweza has been empowering 300–400 children and youth each year through education, creativity, and skills development (plus, they have an incredible art space worth discovering).
We’ll also be collecting book donations. Every contribution helps build something meaningful.
Come cover a book, be part of the story, and help us create a space where reading thrives!

This event is free to attend, and supplies will be provided. Please join us anytime between 11am and 2pm, and book donations are accepted any day of the week between 10am and 6pm to the onsite drop box.
