Transgenerational Journey Workshop

There is saying that goes “you are your ancestors’ answered prayers”. So, imagine your parents and grandparents and beyond, may have prayed for you, whatever the reality of the relationship may have been. Maybe you are living their dream life, maybe you have picked up some good traits and energies from some of them. For sure you are because they were, your existence is the result of love.

On the other side of love there is pain. The body and mind stores everything that happened to you from conception to date. The body and its energy may also store trauma that happened to your ancestors. Traumatic events, often resulting in freeze or fawn responses in childhood, that were not voiced or processed become illnesses (physical or mental), hindering patterns of behaviour, blocks or fears. Secrets repeat themselves unconsciously in the descendants’ lives. Unprocessed traumatic events are often linked to physical and emotional violence, wars, displacement, family separation, traumatic death, sexual violence, infant deaths, unsafe abortion or events that felt shameful at the time. When these events have caused pain in the generations before you and the pain wasn’t acknowledged and processed, the energy of the trauma is still in your family line and may be even in you.

In this workshop we will explore your family stories and you will draw your tree of life and weave the stories together. Amelie will use coaching, family constellations and energy work to support your process. It will be a practical workshop, an exploration into the depths of your incarnation. You will work on your own family tree, identify the knots and we will explore how to untangle some of them.

This workshop will support you to explore and connect with the blocks and gifts of your family tree; it is part of your healing journey; we won’t explore all of the issues, but our prayer is for you to get the information you need at the moment for your own personal growth and to reclaim your power. This workshop is a prayer for empowerment.  

This is not a group family constellation workshop, but Amelie will use family constellation techniques and the theory of it in many ways.

Programme:

•  Introduction and meditation to tune in the healing space
• Draw your family tree
• Explore your tree through stories – tell the stories you know and explore the gaps and knots in your tree
• Identify and acknowledge pain – ritual and visualisation
• Identify and acknowledge love and gifts – constellation – each person receives the gifts and love from their family tree.
• Closing ritual
