Reading Party & Book Swap
7 February @ 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm

Reading Party: Turn pages of your book in companionable silence at this quiet garden reading party. This is a great way to absorb yourself in that book you’ve been meaning to get to, meet your book club deadline, or allocate some dedicated time to reading. Turn off your phone and tune in to your pages in the company of others.
You’ll arrive and enjoy time to order coffee, mingle, and choose your favorite seat or nestle into the grass and get reading. After the two hours is completed, you have the option to discuss what you’ve read with others and share your experience. Reading is commonly a solitary experience, but during this reading party, you can evoke the cosy feeling of collective reading in a library or bookstore, without the extra homework of writing an essay or attending a book club.
Book Swap: Join like minded book lovers and gather together to share and discover new books! Go though your home library and gather books that you are willing to give a new home. This is a great time to clear our children’s books, remove titles that you don’t think you’ll read, and share well loved books with others.
We accept books of all genres, suited to all ages. Books in good condition will be accepted – pages and covers intact, no water damage, spines intact. It’s an honor system – the number of books you bring is the number of books you can exchange. It may be that you don’t find any new books – and that’s ok – others may enjoy your book donation. Any remaining books left after the swap will be donated to charity.
