Kawandi Quilting Class

23 August @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Kawandi quilting originates from the Siddi community in India and Pakistan, a population descended from East African immigrants and enslaved people brought to South Asia centuries ago. These utilitarian quilts are often made from recycled saris and scrap fabrics, constructed using a distinctive outside-in stitching method. Kawandi is a creative and fun method of quilting, approachable and easy for all levels of sewists to enjoy.

1,200/- per person, all supplies are included to make a delightful hand sewn coaster.
