Modern Calligraphy Workshop

Featuring the Elegant Italic Script – come and create a piece of art you’ll actually want to frame.
Join us for a relaxing afternoon of creativity as we explore the elegant Italic script and create a personalised piece of calligraphy art.
Whether it’s a favourite quote, a cherished memory or words that inspire you, you’ll create your own personalised story through calligraphy and art—and leave with an artwork that’s uniquely yours.
Designed for complete beginners and returning participants alike, this workshop is about slowing down, enjoying the creative process, and discovering the beauty of hand lettering in a relaxed and welcoming environment. Whether you come on your own, with a friend, as a parent and child, or make it part of a date afternoon, you’ll leave with a finished piece of artwork you’ll be proud to frame.
During the workshop you will:
* Learn the foundations of the elegant Italic script.
* Practise the essential strokes and letterforms.
* Create your own personalised story through calligraphy and art.
* Complete a beautiful, frame-worthy artwork to take home.
Returning participants are especially welcome! This month’s workshop features the elegant Italic script together with a brand-new creative project, designed to be relaxing, enjoyable and completed during the workshop, giving you plenty of time to enjoy the creative process from start to finish.
As a special part of the workshop, the Provisions team will select one participant’s artwork to be displayed in the café as our Featured Workshop Artwork until the next workshop. No previous experience is necessary—just bring your curiosity and enjoy a creative afternoon.

KES 2,800: all materials provided.
KES 2,000: bring your own calligraphy pen, ink and supplies. Paper will be provided.

Your class sign up is confirmed with payment to the teacher. Refunds are not possible, but we can reschedule up to two times based on the availability of the teacher.
