Beginner Crochet/Knitting Class

Have you always wanted to learn how to crochet or knit, but don’t know where to start? Our classes are well suited to beginner students of ages 10 and older. Stitch your way to success, from simple toys to beautiful garments, and learn new techniques along the way. All supplies are included: a crochet hook or needles, our handspun Rift Valley Yarn, and a pattern book. Learn the basics as well as how to build structure with different stitches.
We can also teach private classes, so please message us to set up a time/day! Classes are held at our retail shop in Lower Kabete, off Farasi Lane.
About the teacher: Classes are taught by the creative Hina Mehta, who has been crafting for many years, and is excited to share her love of handcrafting with new students.
PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS:
We will follow up your registration with details on payment for the class, which can be sent directly to the teacher.
Knitting: 3,000/- per person with beginner knitting kit included (hand carved needles, pattern book, hand spun Kenyan yarn, project carrying pouch)
Crochet: 2,500/- per person with beginner crochet kit included (crochet hook, pattern book, hand spun Kenyan yarn, project carrying pouch)
Class Only: 1,200/- per person if you bring your own supplies (please bring crochet hook or knitting needles and the yarn of your choice).
