Beginner Crochet Class
17 June @ 10:30 am - 11:30 am
Have you always wanted to learn how to crochet, but don’t know where to start? This is well suited to beginner and intermediate students of ages 10 and older. Stitch your way to success, from simple toys to sophisticated garments, and learn new techniques along the way. All supplies are included: a crochet hook, our handspun Rift Valley Yarn, and a pattern book. Learn the chain stitch as well as how to build structure with single and double crochet stitches. The project for this class will be a cute and cozy mug warmer to keep your tea toasty.
We can also teach private group classes, so please message us to set up a time/day! Classes are held at our retail shop in Lower Kabete, off Farasi Lane. We have a lovely cozy fire for colder days and quiet garden for the sunny times.
About the teacher: Classes are taught by the creative Hina Mehta, who has been crafting for many years, and is excited to share her love of crochet with new students.
We will follow up your registration with details on payment for the class, which can be sent directly to the teacher. There is a 10% fee applied for credit cards.
1,600 per person for supplies included (crochet hook, pattern book, yarn)
1,200/- per person if you bring your own supplies (please bring crochet hook and the yarn of your choice).
