Beginner Calligraphy Workshop

Make your own calligraphy pen and learn how to create bold, expressive lettering.
In this hands-on workshop, we’ll turn a simple aluminium can into a cola pen and explore a more playful, expressive side of calligraphy.
We’ll start by making our own tools, then move into guided exercises to experiment with strokes, ink flow, and movement. This session is all about letting go of perfection and discovering how bold, textured letterforms can emerge from simple marks.
You’ll learn to:
* Make and shape your own cola pen
* Explore stroke variation and texture
* Build simple, expressive letterforms
* Create a final piece
No experience needed. Just come ready to experiment.
